아마존 라이트세일도 트래픽풀이 지원된다고 합니다!

그동안 구글링을 했을때 아마존 라이트세일이 트래픽풀(트래픽전송 허용량 및 사용량 통합) 지원이 되느냐 마느냐 서로 말이 많아서 확답을 듣고 싶어서

고객센터에 문의를 했는데, 엄청 애매모호하게 답변을 하더라구요.

첫 질문이,

Hello, I'm using Lightsail instances.

If I am using the following,
A instance : 3.5$  1TB Transfer.
B instance : 20$ 4TB Transfer.

And, if I used traffic like this,
A instance : 1TB inbound traffic and 1TB outbound traffic.
B instance : 1TB inbound traffic and 2TB outbound traffic.

Do I have to pay A instance over transfer cost?
Or Will I have A(1TB) + B(4TB) = 5TB free transfer? so, Is this case free?

였는데, 그냥 FAQ에 있는 라이트세일 요금표에 있는 내용 그대로를 알려주길래,

I know already transper cost rule.
But I want know that "Does Lightsail have a Data transfer Pool?"
Is data transfer shared all my instance?

라고 다시 물어봤고, 이에 대한 답변이

Hi there,

Please disregard the previous email.

The first 1 GB of data transfer out of AWS for each account is free, which covers the majority of these simple requests. The data transfer is combined together per account thus the usage will be totaled together for A instance and B instance.

You pay one rate for all combined data transfer out of AWS (except for CloudFront), up to the first 10 TB, and pricing continues to drop the more bandwidth you use. 

Each Lightsail package includes a pre-defined allotment of data transfer in and out. If you find you need to transfer more data out than your selected package provides, AWS charges $0.09 per GB of data transferred out beyond your monthly limit.

전송량이 합쳐진다. 라는 말 앞에 1기가 무료전송량이라는 전체를 붙여놓아서, 합쳐지는게 1기가만 인지, 전체인지 애매모호하게 설명하고,

그 아래엔 또 각 라이트세일 이라고 명시를 해놔서, 아이씨 된다는건가 안된다는건가 빡쳐가지고

Thank you for your response.

To answer your question, yes you can use 4TB traffic, regardless of where the traffic is used in A and B.

As discussed in the previous correspondence, your plan includes a free data transfer allowance. Both data transfer in and data transfer out of your instance count toward your data transfer allowance thus it can be regardless of where the traffic is used in instance A or B.
