보통 게시판은 분류 하나쯤은 포함을 하고 있으므로 분류를 포함한 게시물의 속도는 어떻게 나오는지 확인해 보도록 하겠습니다.
여기서는 category 를 smallint 형 인덱스로 선언하여 테스트 하도록 하겠습니다.
분류를 1부터 10까지 나눴습니다.
그러므로 분류 10은 10만건의 데이터가 존재합니다.
예2)
http://www.gnutest.com/simple/t2_list.php?index=aid&order=asc&category=10&page=5000
order by aid
게시물이 10만건으로 줄어서인지 속도가 굉장히 빠른것을 확인할수 있습니다.

http://www.gnutest.com/simple/t2_list.php?index=aid&order=asc&force=aid&category=10&page=5000
force key(aid) order by aid
강제로 aid 인덱스를 사용하게 했으나 속도가 더 느려진것을 확인할수 있습니다.
예3)
force key(aid, category) 도 사용해 보았으나 속도가 빨라지는 현상은 발견하지 못했습니다.
이곳에서는 무조건 인덱스를 사용한다고 속도가 빨라지는 것은 아님을 배웠습니다.

실제 아래와 같은 쿼리문의 속도가 더 빨랐습니다.
아마도 category 인덱스를 먼저 사용하는것 같습니다.
select SQL_NO_CACHE * from table where category = '10' order by aid asc limit 99980, 20
